Ren Klyce

The music is very well done and fits the feeling of the scene. I think they use the sound effects very well. The sound effects are very well put together.

the way they use the music to display different feelings and emotions

Training Source(s)

  1. 4:03 The play-by-play commentary from the basketball game plays, this ties into what happens later in the film. so use sound to indicate what is going to happen later on in the film in a subtle way. we also hear this with police sirens
  2. 4:44 More sounds are brought in, a police scanner, the ticking of his watch and the burglar alarm, this builds suspense by having more sounds and lots of stuff going on
  3. 5:04 the fast ticking of the watch builds suspense and indicates that there is a time limit
  4. 5:22 we can hear on the police scanner that they 2 minutes away from the location indicating times running out, building suspense
  5. 5:51 as they are in driving away from the scene a police car is up ahead and they pull to the side. the music and sounds now drop down and are less intense indicating they are safe now
  6. 6:30 a helicopter spots them and driver floors it, they are now in an intense getaway and the sounds and the music kick up louder and more intense
